Ferengata
ABOUT
Ferengata is a Florida-based band with a new CD, "Fire in the Heart" - 2006. The name Ferengata comes from a fictional word in a novel by James Clemens, which means, coincidentally, "Fire in the Heart".
We had been searching for a great name for our band which wasn't already in use, since the name we had been using previously (Feedback) is in use by dozens of bands worldwide.
As we were writing song for our CD, Dave wrote one called Fire in the Heart. Meanwhile, I was reading James Clemens' novel and came across that word, "Ferengata" ... when I read the meaning it seemed meant to be. We adopted the word as our new name in 2005.
